The goal of the P6 International Competition Course is to provide students with a solid foundation in core mathematical concepts, such as Algebra and Geometry, preparing them for success in AMC 10. This foundational knowledge not only equips students to perform well in the competition but also sets the stage for the following year, where they will aim to qualify for the AMC 10 AIME.
In Terms 3 and 4, the AMC 10 course will focus on the introduction of core mathematical modules, specifically Algebra and Geometry, to help students build a strong foundation for success in AMC10 the following year.
Algebra
In Term 3, the Algebra module will expand on advanced topics such as quadratic and exponential functions, rational expressions, and solving equations, providing students with the critical thinking and problem-solving tools needed to tackle complex problems.
Geometry
This course focuses on key geometry skills, including understanding points, lines, angles, and polygons; mastering deductive reasoning and proofs; analyzing angles and relationships in triangles and polygons; applying proportional reasoning and properties of similarity; solving geometry problems using linear equations; and proving and working with parallel lines effectively.
By honing spatial visualization and applying geometric theorems, students can tackle intricate diagrams and multi-step challenges with precision and confidence, solidifying geometry as an indispensable skill for excelling in the AMC 10.

Gearing up for the PSLE, Term 3 marks a crucial period of preparation for students. In Term 1 and Term 2, we covered 100% of all the knowledge points tested in the PSLE, ensuring that students have a strong grasp of the required content. Term 3 is particularly critical as it represents the final stretch before the PSLE, where students must not only consolidate their learning but also use this time effectively to identify and address any key weak areas.
Through comprehensive revision focused on high-weightage and high-frequency topics, Term 3 aims to maximise the effectiveness of their preparation, ensuring students are well-equipped to excel in their exams.
Based on the analysis of past PSLE exam questions from 2020 to 2024, the high-weightage topics includes Angles, Fractions, Percentage, Ratio, Circles, Data Analysis and Volume. To address these critical areas, our Term 3 LTC is structured to provide intensive revision on high-weightage and high-frequency topics that pose the most significant challenges to students. The primary objective is to help students review critical concepts thoroughly while honing their ability to apply these concepts to complex PSLE-level and P6 Prelim exam-level word problems. By emphasizing these crucial high weightage topics, Term 3 maximizes preparation efficiency, giving students the confidence to tackle the PSLE successfully.
Our course is designed to effectively prepare students for the PSLE by embedding a structured learning approach into our Long Term Course. Each session is carefully planned to address key areas of conceptual understanding and application. The first 1 hour and 30 minutes are dedicated to a thorough conceptual revision of each topic, starting with a knowledge recap, followed by word problem demonstrations and guided practice. To help students assess their mastery of the topic, a post-class quiz is administered in the last 20 minutes, followed by a detailed quiz run-through to ensure they understand their mistakes and can refine their problem-solving techniques. This targeted approach ensures that students consolidate their learning effectively and build confidence as they progress.
School holidays provide an excellent opportunity for students to focus on strengthening their weaker areas. To support this, we have developed targeted short-term courses designed to address these specific challenges. These courses offer additional practice questions and problem-solving exercises, helping students improve their skills and build confidence in a focused and efficient manner.
